In July 2018, FirstGen started as an initiative to increase access to venture-scale entrepreneurship for immigrant and first generation founders.

Since then, FirstGen has evolved to provide a platform for access to social and financial capital to help FirstGen founders raise their first $1m in funding and get to $1m in funding through the 4 C’s: Capabilities, Community, Capital and Customers.

We are purpose built for the unique experiences, strengths and challenges of FirstGen founders and we are on a mission to unleash the full economic potential of the immigrant capabilities. We hope that by enabling access to the American Dream of entrepreneurship, we will help to build more wealth in FirstGen communities.
